It took until I was almost 60 years-old to get to travel to Australia. You’ll get there one day. While you’re down there be sure to visit New Zealand too! We went to the South Island. The trip was in December 2023-January 2024. I wish I knew what that little guy is but I got to see all the other animals in the stamp set. Have fun. I can’t wait to see what you create. Have fun in Europe! It took me to age 55 to get there. Flights are fairly cheap now in the shoulder season. One bit of advice, check the school calendar in the countries you are visiting since they have time off in October. Also, buy any museum tickets online in advance. That’s almost always the only way to get tickets.

Hi Christy, Thanks for sharing your new stamp sets, they are great! I'm looking forward to seeing how you will use them! The 'o' in Quokka is pronounced like the 'o' in the word odd. I've only seen them on the TV. They live on Wadjemup / Rottnest Island, off the Western Australia coast. I hope you get to visit Australia one day, it is a really beautiful place!

Great picks Christy 😁😁😁I think that can’t be a quokka or they really didn’t do it justice, a quokka best feature is the smile!! I like the monkey set, the bananna tree is cute! I also like the banana phone you could do a long time no hear card, or two flipping one monkey and a let’s catch up soon card.

I want to thank you for promoting healthier and more intentional spending habits! During january I finish up the christmas cards that I couldn't get done in time because I am horrible at managing time 😂 Then general winter cards with snow flakes, snow globes etc. Once I'm sick of winter (which I usually am before February) I start making spring cards. With some non-seasonal birthday cards and thank you cards sprinkled in. I'd like to see any of the tropical sets first since there's still lots of sunshine (inbetween rainy days) where I live.

I love your haul purchases and I have been limiting my purchases, too. I am buying less this year and even less next because, like you said, I have enough supplies to make lots of cards to last me a lifetime. The problem is, stamp companies come out with the cutest stamps and I really want them. Lawn Fawn's newest release, if you were to buy it all, would cost $848 and some change, that is close to a thousand dollars, there is no way I can justify spending that much money on stamps and dies with a few supplies for one season. I love Lawn Fawn, they are, over all, my favorite company but that is so much money and there is quite a bit that I want. I think their snowmen are super adorable. The mice I want, but I am not as, "I need this set" as I usually am. I plan on getting it, at some point, but I really am cutting back and trying to get less. I love your rule of three and I am sure you can come up with three ways to use most stamp sets so I am sure that it would be easy for you to justify most purchases. You are so talented and creative! I love what you got. I have the Mama Elephant monkey stamp set and think it is super adorable, they are my second favorite stamp company. The jenoblade stamp set you got with the sending squeezes, the critters you aren't sure of are a fox and racoon. Don't ask me how, they don't look like them to me, but that is what it says under the description on MFT's website. I think they are super adorable all the same just having a hard time picturing them. You are such an amazing person! Thank you for all of the time and effort you spend on us. I love all of your purchases and think that your choices are excellent for transitioning from summer to fall. I look forward to seeing what you create with these and seeing a process video with some will be something I look forward to. Can't wait to see what you create with your new goodies! and I do think you are correct that the one critter is a Quokka. I'm sort of the opposite of you, I can't stand summer (although here in the Midwest summers are brutally hot) and can't wait for autumn and winter. I think my hubby would want me to be as disciplined as you when ordering new goodies. This year I was on a huge spending spree but reeling it back now!

I think you are right it is a Quokka. You say it like Kwaa kuh. I have this set also because the Kiwi is my favorite animal and there are not many stamp sets out there with them. I keep begging Lawn Fawn to make one. Maybe you can help there. Have a great day and great video as always.

I have to agree with all the other comments that praised the color combination of this card! As much as I'll miss summer I'm still excited for fall and the beautiful warm colors it brings. The leaves are starting to turn which is always bittersweet to me..

What a great card for your son 💙 When my daughter started college a few years ago she was several hours away. I did my best to mail her a card each week to help her feel not so far away. She even sent me a few as well. I hope your son enjoys his college experience!

I love the backstory to this card, such a sweet reminder for your son of his home and the people who love him. The Santa Monica Pier is huge and beautiful. I grew up in the area, I remember it well. Such a beautiful place to visit. Were you able to do anything else? That particular area is so pretty. Did you see the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Los Angeles temple, it's not that far from the Santa Monica Pier and is also quite beautiful. The grounds and building are gorgeous. You should recommend it to your son if he has free time and would like to see a beautiful building with beautiful landscaping that is free and interesting, that is a good place to check out. I love these videos, your channel is such a light to our community and I appreciate you more than you know.
